no - not to a new house... but to a new site! :)
I've put a blog up on my website. I'm still figuring out the little kinks here and there, because I'm not too good with formatting, etc., but I'd love for you to come check it out, and follow me (I think you have to click the little rss button)
Unique and unusual acrylic, watercolor and mixed media paintings, with the occasional commentary about random things

I need more geek blood....
BLARG! I'm working on my website today. This could be worse, because I'm at least using a simplified drag-and drop template. I could be actually.... *horrific gasp* D8 ... coding my own layout! Oh no! Avert your eyes! Think of kittens!
This is what I have so far, a work in progress for several months - oy, I'm pathetic ha ha...
I'm hoping to eventually have a nice, simple, uniform looking site, which will mean lots of tweaking and possibly redoing until I get it right. I'm aiming for a professional yet approachable look - right now I'm hitting a wall... but I'll keep at it.

Will I have time for art now?
I certainly hope so. I mean, I fully intend to keep drawing, painting, doodling, and scribbling for as long as I'm able to hold a paintbrush, pen, or pencil.
Why am I even asking this? I landed a full-time job recently and I start tomorrow, which means 40-plus hours each week will be spent at an office doing totally non-artsy things, and I'll only have about 4 hours each weekday to cram in all the things I need to do at home.
Looks like what I might have to do is make a plan. That means I might have to consider being somewhat organized. scary o-0
I suppose I can carve a little bit of art-time out of my weekends after I get all the grocery shopping, housecleaning, and laundry :)
In other news, I'm still trying to get my website exactly the way I want it. I haven't really done a whole lot to it - just messing with fonts and table background colors, really. Right now I'm tinkering around with a premade template, but I've gotten ftp settings so I just might attempt some actual coding. Somebody warn the internet ha ha.

I hope I don't break the internet....
I've finally taken the plunge, and I have set up my own website! Of course, there is still lots to be done. I keep coming up with more that I feel like I need to add, or I decide that my font is wrong, or I need to rename a page...
And setting up the website is only half of it! I've realized now that I'm trying to become "official" that I really need to pay attention to details like a Tax ID number, or sales tax. Because - who knows - I might end up having tons of sales one day and I'll need to have that stuff taken care of!
I also have been learning the ins and outs of a Google Merchant account - still have to add some things, but that'll get all set up really quickly.
aaannnd... I've listed a couple of new ACEOs in my Etsy shop:

Floating Garden
and Burst of Spring

I hope you'll come take a look at them and my other works - perhaps you'll find something to add to your collection, or perhaps you'll find a great gift for somebody special!
