It's Friday! yay!
or if you're at all like me - it means a weekend full of catching up on housework, laundry, and errands - boo! Well, at least this weekend Mom and Dad are coming for a visit, so I do have something to look forward to :)

When I stepped outside this morning at - get this - 6:20 AM - I was greeted with a stuffy, steamy, wall of heat that just did NOT need to be hanging around at that hour. Yes, in my little corner of the planet I do believe summer is creeping up on us, with hot as well... you know... complete with days that reach over 100 degrees and time spent justifying meals of ice cream and popsicles. Hey - there's dairy and some other food group in there, so hush.
So... today I'm featuring ways to keep cool on a hot summer day. Enjoy!

Since it's Friday somewhere already, I'm composing my feature now...
This week has been crazy - basically an emotional rollercoaster of pulling my hair out, multitasking, and pulling more hair out...
so, I decided to feature things that make me think happy, calming thoughts....
