Hee hee...gosh... Yes, I am. Somebody slightly more important than chocolate, and way niftier than sliced bread is going to be gone almost all week (well, beginning Tuesday, and on through Saturday). I'll be plenty busy with tons to keep myself occupied (heck, with a full time job, 5 kiddos, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and being all artsy fartsy I should have enough to do for quite a while!
I have decided to send along hand written notes - on some really cute little cards I've had for a while. Yes, I think they'd count as vintage, since I think I've had them since the 80s! Wow... Has it really been that long? Okay getting back to the subject...
I've forgotten how seldom I actually write little notes or letters any more, and just how special they are to send and receive.
I even have a small section in my shop dedicated to handmade notecards, and notecards printed from my artwork. I think I may try adding to it soon - I think there needs to be more letters and notes sent out to those who are special to us :)
Getting snail mail is so nice! Which reminds me, I need to write a letter to my pen pal. I should renew some of my note cards on Etsy, too. :D

DeleteI really agree! And I've been thinking about that a lot lately. With the advent of email, and especially Facebook, so many people that are important to me are falling out of touch...it's almost a reason to celebrate when we actually get something with someone's handwriting on it in the mail.
